Why we built this
Every flatshare we've ever lived in had the same problem. Someone always ended up being the unpaid accountant — keeping a Notes app of who owes what, chasing screenshots, and quietly resenting the housemate who "forgot" again. We built Beitmate to make that person disappear, so the people in the home can just be friends.
What we believe
Fairness over precision
The point isn't a perfect ledger. It's that nobody feels taken advantage of.
Quiet by default
Money in shared homes should be ambient — there when you need it, invisible when you don't.
Your home, your data
We don't sell anything to anyone. Your household lives on your devices and on encrypted European servers.
Made with honey
Software for homes should feel handmade. We sweat the details so your group chat doesn't have to.
Where we are
Beitmate is built in France, designed for European flatshares, and currently available in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Arabic. We host on European infrastructure and follow GDPR by default — not as an afterthought.
The team
We're a small team of designers, engineers, and ex-roommates. We answer our own emails. If something doesn't work, you'll hear back from a real person — usually within a day.
Want to say hi? We read every message. support.beitmate@gmail.com
What's next
This page is the short version. Once we publish our roadmap, full team page, and product story, you'll find them here. For now, the best way to get a feel for what we're building is to try the app.
